Day 1:

Kathgodam to Binsar (95km, 4 hours) - Arrive Kathgodam Railway Station, drive to Binsar (offbeat Kumaon hill station at 2420m altitude), scenic mountain drive through oak forests, pass through Almora (stop for lunch and views), ascend to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary (47 sq km sanctuary established 1988, oak and rhododendron forests, habitat for leopard, Himalayan black bear, barking deer, 200+ bird species including forktail, Himalayan griffon), check-in eco-resort/KMVN Tourist Rest House inside sanctuary, afternoon easy nature walk around resort, evening bonfire, overnight Binsar|

Day 2:
