Day 1:
Bhopal to Pachmarhi (210km, 5 hours) - Morning drive from Bhopal to Pachmarhi (only hill station in Madhya Pradesh at 1067m altitude in Satpura range, called Queen of Satpura), scenic drive through forests, arrive Pachmarhi, check-in hotel, evening visit Apsara Vihar (fairy pool, natural pool with waterfall, safe for bathing, steps lead down to pool, popular evening spot), overnight Pachmarhi|
Day 2:
Pachmarhi Viewpoints & Caves - Morning visit Jata Shankar Cave (natural Shiva temple inside cave formed by huge rocks, stalagmite formation resembling Shiva's matted locks/jata, damp cold interiors, 60 steps down), Handi Khoh (300m deep ravine, supposed abode of giant serpent, panoramic valley views from top, dense forest valley, trekking trails), afternoon visit Priyadarshini Point/Forsyth Point (sunset viewpoint with Handi Khoh view, named after Captain Forsyth who discovered Pachmarhi 1857), Dhoopgarh (highest point in Satpura at 1352m, best for sunrise and sunset, drive up possible, panoramic 360┬░ views), overnight Pachmarhi|
Day 3:
Waterfalls & Departure - Morning visit Bee Falls (35m waterfall, 250 steps down to base, natural pool for swimming, picnic spot, also called Jamuna Prapat, best during/after monsoon), Rajat Prapat (Big Falls, 107m tall spectacular waterfall, 3km trek through dense forest from Apsara Vihar, Madhya Pradesh's highest waterfall, challenging trek but worth it), afternoon visit Pandav Caves (five ancient dwelling caves believed to be where Pandavas stayed during exile, Archaeological Survey protected, rock paintings, museum with ancient artifacts, Ôé╣25 entry), checkout, drive back to Bhopal (210km, 5 hours) for departure
