Day 1:
Pathankot to Dalhousie (80km, 2.5 hours) - Arrive Pathankot Railway Station or Amritsar Airport (200km from Dalhousie), drive to Dalhousie (hill station named after Lord Dalhousie spread over five hills at 2050m altitude in Dhauladhar range), scenic drive through Himachal Pradesh mountains, arrive Dalhousie, check-in hotel, evening walk on Gandhi Chowk and Subhash Chowk (market areas with shops, cafes, restaurants), Mall Road walk, overnight Dalhousie|
Day 2:
Dalhousie Sightseeing - Morning visit Panchpula (waterfall and picnic spot 3km from town, five bridges over stream, cenotaph of freedom fighter Sardar Ajit Singh, pleasant walk), Subhash Baoli (water spring where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose spent time in 1937 during treatment, serene spot with pine trees, walk through forest), afternoon visit St. John's Church (1863 built beautiful church with Victorian architecture and Belgian stained glass windows, scenic location), St. Francis Church, Dainkund Peak trek (highest peak in Dalhousie 2755m, also called Singing Hill due to wind whistling through trees, 360┬░ Himalayan views including Pir Panjal ranges, 10km from town, short trek from road), overnight Dalhousie|
Day 3:
Khajjiar - Mini Switzerland - Full day excursion to Khajjiar (22km, called Mini Switzerland of India, stunning meadow 1920m altitude with small lake in center, surrounded by deodar forests and snow-capped peaks, lush green carpet perfect for rolling, sitting, playing, horse riding, zorbing, trekking), visit Khajji Nag Temple (12th century wooden temple dedicated to snake god, beautiful architecture), walk around Khajjiar Lake (saucer-shaped lake with floating island of weeds in center, paddle around on zorbing balls, paragliding from nearby hills - additional cost Ôé╣2000-3000), picnic lunch at meadow, return Dalhousie evening, overnight|
Day 4:
Kalatop & Departure - Morning visit Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary (8km from Dalhousie, dense deodar and oak forests, sanctuary for Himalayan black bear, black marten, serow, leopards, numerous bird species, nature walks and easy treks, forest rest house for overnight stays if booking in advance, Ôé╣50 entry), Bakrota Hills walk (pine forests, valley views), afternoon checkout, drive to Pathankot/Amritsar for departure, optional en route stop at Nurpur Fort, tour ends with pine-scented memories
