Day 1:
Arrival Khajuraho - Arrive Khajuraho Airport or by road, check-in hotel, lunch (own cost), afternoon visit Western Group Temples: Lakshmana Temple (dedicated to Vishnu, entire life cycle depicted on walls, exquisite carvings), Kandariya Mahadeva Temple (largest, tallest at 31m, 646 statues, pinnacle of temple architecture, dedicated to Shiva, maidens in 84 poses), Chitragupta Temple (sun god Surya, 11-headed Vishnu), Devi Jagadambi Temple (Parvati, three-headed Brahma), Matangeshwara Temple (still in active worship, massive lingam), marvel at erotic sculptures showing mithuna (couples), apsaras, everyday activities, spiritual ascent symbolism, evening attend spectacular Sound and Light Show in Western temple complex (1-hour narrated history, temple illumination, Chandela dynasty stories), dinner, overnight|

Orchha Excursion - Early morning checkout, drive to Orchha (175km, 3-4 hrs, medieval town on Betwa River banks), visit massive Orchha Fort Complex: Jahangir Mahal (three-storied palace built for Mughal emperor visit, turquoise tiles, balconies), Raj Mahal (king palace with murals), Sheesh Mahal (now hotel), Raja Ram Temple (only temple where Ram worshipped as king, spiritual center), Chaturbhuj Temple (built for Ram, now empty, 4-armed Vishnu originally planned, stunning architecture), Laxminarayan Temple (fort-temple blend, beautiful frescoes), walk across to riverside Cenotaphs (14 chhatris - memorial monuments for Orchha rulers on Betwa banks, stunning sunset spot), lunch at local restaurant, drive to nearest station/continue onward journey, tour ends
